01 / In our own words
The story
behind the photo.
See the original post ↗Haven Lakeland Holiday We got our awning up for the first time - went better than I thought and much easier than expected. Rained for 24hrs on the Wednesday flooding everything but the camper and awning stood up to the task. 4 month old Georgia scaled Helvellyn mountain with the family before stopping at the Badger Hotel and Bar. Great wee trip. #helvellyn #camper #campervan #badgerbar #haven #havenlakeland #mountain #babymountain #mountainlife #family #adventure #transitcustomcampervan

Helvellyn in perspective
At 950 metres, Helvellyn is third in the Lake District National Park’s list of highest mountains, behind Scafell Pike and Scafell. The height gives some scale to the scenery; it does not describe our route or its difficulty.
Lake District National Park · Facts and figures ↗A working landscape
The Lake District’s scenery has been shaped by centuries of upland sheep farming as well as its natural features. The National Park highlights the Herdwick breed as part of that living landscape.
